Hyundai was one of four brands - Kia, Smart and Subaru were the others - whose sales increased in a dismal January. Hyundai sales rose 14.3 percent compared with January 2008. Acting CEO John Krafcik credits the Hyundai Assurance Program and the North American Car of the Year award for the Genesis Sedan. The Assurance program, which allows customers to return vehicles if they lose their jobs, is attracting shoppers.
"we think it responsible for a 10 to 15 percent incremental increase" said John Krafcik Hyundai Motor America acting CEO.
Sound to me like a good time to buy a Hyundai.!!

New Car Tax Incentive
As you may have recently read in the media, President Barack Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act on February 17th. The legislation was approved by the Congress, in part, to provide an additional stimulus to the US economy. Among the many provisions in the legislation, there is a measure that may directly assist new vehicles sales. We wanted to make sure every dealer was aware of the new rule and could maximize it to create sales.
Specifically, the stimulus package allows for the following:
§ New vehicle buyers may deduct “any state or local sales excise tax” for new cars purchased through December 31, 2009;
§ The deduction applies to new vehicle purchases up to $49,500 (or to that portion of the purchase price, if the cost is in excess of that limit);
§ To qualify for the tax deduction, an individual must make less than $125,000 or a family must make less than $250,000;
§ The deduction is “above the line” and can be taken by both itemizers and non-itemizers.
I believe this new vehicle sales tax deduction fits within the sweet-spot of our buyers. Along with our solid Hyundai product story and the Assurance program, this tax incentive provides you with another reason to purchase a new Hyundai. I encourage you to contact Billie, Ernie, Jason or Les as soon as possible.

Hyundai + Quality = Value
Hyundai and quality?!! A few years ago people wouldn't have used those two words in the same sentence. But, my how things have changed. In the latest Consumer Reports magazine the Hyundai Genesis ranked Number 1. That is higher than the Lexus ES 350, Toyota Avalon, Acura TL and the Nissan Maxima. The Hyundai Azera Limited (Hyundai Previous Flagship automobile)ranked in the 6th spot in the Highly Competitive "Large Upscale Car" category. This not only puts a feather in their cap, but shows their commitment to quality. Not only with the quality of these two upscale vehicles but also the rest of their fleet. With their commitment to provide the consumer with safety and quality for a low price makes the whole Hyundai line an extremely good value. For years we heard the slogan oil and vinegar will never mix but with Hyundais'hard work over the years Hyundai and quality will no longer fit into the category of things that don't mix.

Loyalty loyalty loyalty
Hyundai's theme right now is "LOYALTY". Both ways, they are trying to be loyal to their customers and are rewarding the ones that have been loyal to them. They have some incredible programs. The message at least to me is that the people that believed in Hyundai and bought cars when Hyundai was growing are being rewarded with loyalty incentives. So come down and see my staff Ernie, Billie, Les and Jason and bring your title or registration to qualify for your Incentives. As my own personal incentive bring a copy of this blog and when you buy a car from one of my sales people and your first oil change is on us. Valid for the month of February
And Remember if it doesn't say "DUTCH" your paying way toooo much.
