Radio Commercials

I had to do a couple of radio commercials this morning with Tom Roten from WVHU 800 AM for Dutch Miller Hyundai and if you have never done this, its harder then it looks. Of course Tom made it very easy, I can't wait to hear them. I will say that it was kinda fun and for me its easy to get excited over the products we sell as I beleive in them. I had a customer over the weekend that came from Charleston and the last thing she told me before she left is that "we were worth the drive". So if your reading this and wonder whether its worth coming to Huntington Wv to buy a car, I would have to tell you the answer should be a resounding YES. Remember "If it doesn't say Dutch your paying way to much.
If you need prices or have questions don't hesitate to contact me.

Sales people

I think I have a great group of sales people, they aren't pushy, they work hard for YOU and try to give you the best possible customer service to make your experience a good one. According to surveys people rank buying a car right next to getting a root canal done, We try to change the way people feel about buying a car and try to take care of all your needs with one stop shopping. If you are in the market come on down and see Les, Billie, Ernie and Jason. They can answer your questions and help you through the process. Its a beautiful day for buying a car.

New or Used???

I took a couple of days off to follow the inauguration and all the hoopla, but now it back to grindstone. The biggest question that most people have to ask there self is whether to go New or Preowned? You can find good values in both though sometimes you can get more car(read more goodies) for the same money just with a few more miles on it. Try to do your homework about your budget and have an idea where you want to be payment range. If going used, try to be at least a little flexible in color and options, but don't be afraid to ask for what you want. Most dealers go to auctions on a regular basis and there is usually a very good selection of vehicles for them to chose. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

World according to Dan

There was an older movie called The World according to Garp and during Desert Storm our Skipper on the USS Saratoga would get on the loud speaker system and tell us about The World according to Mobley(Captain Mobley) so I guess I can do The world according to Dan.

Buying a car.... there are some incredible deals out there for the person thats in the market or just looking to get the most bang for there buck. Where to look.... look at car companies that will be around, to service their vehicles to stand behind their product, to stand behind their customers!!! Hyundai is there. Americas best warranty, 2009 Car of the Year and the Hyundai Assurrance program. Used cars, you can buy a used Hyundai that has more factory warranty left then what someone elses car comes with brand new. This also helps it retain it's value. Make sure you drive what ever you are looking at, make sure it meets your needs.

Please feel free to contact me if I can be of any assistance in your buying process.

Special Finance

Trying to buy a car and not having alot of luck? Banks and lending institutions have gotten a little bit bit pickier on the deals they are approving HOWEVER... the biggest thing that helps get them off the fence is EQUITY. Now you ask how do I get into an equity position well thats easy trade or cash. Cash shows a bank that you are willing to invest in yourself, that you believe in your ability to repay the loan. Cash can sometimes be hard to come by but for most of us, hopefully anyways we are going to get a tax refund. Dont be afraid to invest some of this money in getting yourself a new or preowned car. A car loan is one of the fastest and easiest way to improve your credit. REBATES... alot of people think this is their downpayment and it does help but they still like to see cash out of your pocket.
Bottom line don't be afraid to invest in yourself.

Any questions please feel free to contact me.

Special Finance

Can you get financed with bad credit?? YES YOU CAN.
Is it a little harder then it use to be?? Yes it is.

How ever banks and lending institutions are still lending money. They have to, its the only way they can keep making money. They are just dotting the I's and crossing the T's. Banks know that bad things can happen to good people and are willing to try to give them another chance. Things you will need: Current paystub dated within 30 days, phone bill, utility bill(showing your current address, dated within 30 days)
5 references valid drivers license and a smile

WOOOOHOOO Car of the Year

WOOO HOOO Hyundai Genesis just named North American Car of the Year by a panel of 50 independent jounalist. Like the old Virginia slim commercial use to say "You've come a long way Baby"
"Genesis represents everything we've learned, so far, about engineering great automobiles -- and we're delighted that the judges have recognized the good work of our R&D teams," said John Krafcik, Hyundai Motor America acting president and chief executive officer. "And we're not stopping here ... Genesis will share company in Hyundai showrooms this spring with its rear-wheel drive platform-mate, the Genesis Coupe."

This is a pretty good feather in Hyundai's cap, the jurors considered 50 new vehicles and chose the Genesis. Speaking of which I have 3 instock.
Come down and see me for a great deal

Hyundai Assurance Program creating a buzz.

Hyundai's Assurance Program is a novel approach to the car buying experience, they understand consumers' hesitance to commit to large purchases in today's economic environment. Great cars, Great Car Company.

Hyundai Motor America announced today an unprecedented program to protect consumers in this uncertain economic environment. Beginning today, Hyundai is providing a complimentary vehicle return program for the first year on every new Hyundai that is financed or leased for owners who experience an involuntary loss of income within 12 months of the purchase date. The "Hyundai Assurance Program" expands the protection offered through "The Hyundai Advantage: America's Best Warranty," which has provided 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain protection to Hyundai owners for a decade. The Hyundai Assurance Program is complimentary for one full year, covers all Hyundai models and is available to everyone.

"We understand consumers' hesitance to commit to large purchases in today's economic environment," said John Krafcik, acting president and CEO, Hyundai Motor America. "Ten years ago, Hyundai's industry-leading warranty provided peace of mind to consumers about Hyundai's quality and reliability. Today we're extending that peace of mind to cover consumers' employment status and personal finances."

The Hyundai Assurance Program, the first of its kind for an automaker in the U.S. auto industry, allows consumers to walk away from a financing obligation when certain adverse life events occur, providing protection from financial shortfalls that arise from vehicle depreciation (negative equity) up to $7,500.

The Hyundai Assurance Program complements America's Best Warranty as standard protection on new vehicles financed or leased from a participating Hyundai dealer, and supplements all existing consumer incentives. The program is available to any consumer, regardless of age, health, employment history or financed amount of the vehicle. The program is complimentary for the first 12 months of the financing or lease date for vehicles financed through Hyundai Motor Finance Company and other third-party lenders and financing sources. Covered circumstances include:

-- Involuntary unemployment
-- Physical disability
-- Loss of driver's license due to medical impairment
-- International employment transfer
-- Self-employed personal bankruptcy
-- Accidental death

Consumers must have made at least two scheduled payments on their loan or lease, be current on all payments and pay for any outstanding balance above the $7,500 benefit amount which results from negative equity. Once the benefit is approved by the Hyundai Assurance administrator and the customer pays any outstanding balance, the customer returns the vehicle to the selling dealer, whose appraisal is factored into the valuation formula, and the consumer avoids further financial obligation or negative impact to his/her credit. The dealer is then able to remarket the vehicle.

For more details about the Hyundai Assurance Program, please visit http://www.HyundaiUSA.com or http://www.HyundaiAssurance.com.

HYUNDAI MOTOR AMERICA

Hyundai is no stranger to aggressive promotions. The 10-year, 100,000-mile warranty it introduced a decade ago helped overcome concerns about the reliability of its vehicles.

"Hyundai has a history of making unprecedented moves when necessary to try to get people into the showrooms," said Karl Brauer, editor in chief at Edmunds.com.

Great Payments on GREAT CARS

Since 1961, you’ve known the name “Dutch Miller” has meant getting a great deal on a new or pre-owned vehicle in this area. You see the license tags all over town. When they added Hyundai to the family many years ago, Sam Miller not only brought you America’s Best Warranty – a full 10 years, 100,000 miles, he also brought you the best VALUE in the car business. Do all the research you want on the internet, in the car magazines, or the vehicle ratings services…you’ll find that Hyundai has better vehicles, with better gas mileage and a better warranty….all for thousands less than the competition. I’ve driven them and I can vouch for it. You’ve got Sonata’s as low as $268 a month, Elantras starting at $208 a month, and Accents as low as $178…..there’s even zero percent financing and thousands of dollars in rebates on many Hyundai models. And at Dutch Miller Hyundai Sam’s even got the deal-making Storf, Dan Hartmanstorfer, running around thinking that everything you trade in should be worth at least 3 thousand dollars. All this sounds incredible, right? Good deals all over the place? Interested, but want some more? Well, here’s the kicker, you can’t make a mistake, because Dutch Miller Hyundai is offering you something no one has ever dared before. Purchase a new Hyundai, and if you lose your income, you get physically disabled, you get transferred overseas, any of a bunch of things that would hurt you and your family financially….and we’ll let you simply return it. We’re in it together. That’s peace of mind. That’s Dutch Miller Hyundai, 1202 Washington Avenue. That’s why everyone knows that if you don’t shop Dutch, you’ll pay way too much.

Hyundai, Its a product I believe in, I own one and love it.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions on buying a car, even if your doing it somewhere else.

Think about it this way you are trying to sell the Dealership your car, would you want to buy my car if it was dirty nasty and full of trash hadn't been washed or waxed in forever? The tires low, oil hadn't been changed in a long time. How much value do you lose in this case? So the bottom line is clean it up like you were selling it to an individual, make me want to BUY this car from you. For more tips please feel free to contact me.

Hyundai Assurance

This is my first post, so please pardon me while I learn. I wanted to start a blog so that I could get the word out about Hyundai products on a personal level. Todays post will focus on a new product just announced on January 2nd. Its called Hyundai Assurance and the quick overview on it is that Hyundai is the first automaker to offer a vehicle return program in the US. It allows you to walk away from your loan or lease without having to worry about negative equity. It lets you turn your vehicle into the dealer in the case of certain life altering circumstances. I was a bit skeptical when I first started to read about it and wondered what the catch might be but I don't see a catch, they give it to you free for the first year of ownership. For more information please feel free to email me at dhart@dutchmillerauto.com call at 304-529-2301 or instant message at dutchmillerdan@yahoo.com
